What is Plastic Injection Molding?
A plastic injection molding part is made by injecting melted plastic resin into the empty cavity of a mold. After optimized cooling and solidification, the precision plastic part is ejected and the molding cycle repeats. Generally speaking, the molding duration, which ranges from a few seconds to minutes, depends on the plastic part size or weight, the raw material, and the design of the injection mold.
